PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN LONDON
Transport for London
- This has a lot of good information about travel in London . It has
maps, ticket prices, a journey planner and warnings of current and
future service problems.
Double decker and bendy
buses are part of the London experience and some of the new London
Underground stations are amazing pieces of architecture. We may suggest
using buses, tubes, river boats and the Docklands Light Railway in your
trips where they fit in with what you want to see and do and your
timetable.
MAPS
All Underground, or 'tube', stations have
free tube and bus maps. If you want to buy a street atlas of
London consider whether you need one covering the whole of London
or just the centre. Be sure to buy one with a map scale large
enough to read it comfortably.
